What is included in our engagement session? Your session includes up to 90 minutes of shooting on location within 30 miles of central Seattle. If you need some suggestions on locations, don't worry I have plenty of ideas! A total of two outfits for the session are also included. You will then get the gallery information once your gallery is posted 2-5 weeks after the session where you can go to order prints and other products. All products, including individual digital files, High Res DVD of session images, prints, and albums are available for purchase a la carte unless otherwise noted in a package.
What should I wear to the engagement session? Your session allows for 2 outfits total. A lot of couples start in something a little more “sassy” or dressy and then change mid way through the session into something a little more casual and relaxed. Bright colors are great. Avoid wearing solid blacks and whites. Being you is the most important thing. If you need any further direction look at all the cuties in my "laugh" gallery on the web site.
Where will we change into our second outfits during the session? Most people either change in their cars or we stop in a local store and they can change in the bathroom.
What do we do if it is raining on the day of our session? If it is just doing a “typical” Seattle mist we will proceed with the session. Typically I take couples inside local coffee shops, under awnings etc. until it the rain burns off. However, if it is really pouring then we will re-schedule the session for another time. Bring an umbrella, you never know here in Seattle. Despite what some people may think, cloudy days make for great photos.
How does the ordering through the gallery work? It is very simple. You will receive your gallery password via e-mail from me once your gallery is posted. Usually my favorites from the session will be blogged a week or two prior to the gallery posting. All of the images ordered through the gallery will receive the advanced enhancements and have individual time spent on each image.
