Kufal Family: Lifestyle Family Session

Wow. Where to even begin with this beautiful, amazing, light-up-the-world kind of family?! This family session was SOOOO stinkin' fun for me! We laughed a LOT and honestly these kids were THE MOST STYLISH kids I have ever seen... not to mention their absolute pinch-their-cheek-cuteness! I think Korbyn & Kash should model for Baby Gap.

Momma Maegan is Laynie's sister... Laynie warned me before the shoot that I just might want to make Maegan my best friend because we were so much alike.... and I totally did! We hit it off. This family is truly MAGNETIC and Charming, something about them just draws you to them. They drove up from Arkansas for the shoot while I was in Oklahoma, and I am so glad they did... This family session seriously rocked my face off.

AND little Kash had THE MOST incredible laugh ever. It was the laugh of a rich old soul... I couldnt help but crack up laughing every time we tickled the little guy. So cute.

Thank you Kufal's for being totally and completely YOU and for giving me the honor of photographing your sweet family!

Laura & Ashley: Engagement

Laura & Ashley are so stinkin' A-mazing together. Laura was a Tau Beta Chi-Omega with me back in college. She has always been a leader and a radiant girl who is totally grounded and has got it together. Laura is the type of person that you know will follow through on her word and will do it with total excellence... She is just one of those outstanding kind of people.

This was my first time to meet Ashley, but from the two hours we spent together it was so obvious why Laura fell in love with him. Ashley is an 'adventurer,' one of those truly magnificent people that wants to suck everything he can out of this beautiful world. He is an explorer, a dreamer and someone who see's the good in most everything and everyone.
And when he starts soaring too high above the clouds Laura brings him back down to reality ;) They are so totally perfect together. I couldn't be happier for my sweet sister.

Larua & Ashley, you two are an amazing couple and I feel at least 10 points more awesome having shot your engagement photo's ;) Love ya!

Momma Laynie, Papa Beau & lil' Slate

You all may remember Laynie & Beau from when I shot an anniversary session for them about a year ago. Well they have added a little cutie-pie to their already beautiful family, lil' baby Slate. Laynie is a dear friend of mine from way back in my days of being a Cowboy at OSU. I feel so excited when I see my friend's lives unfold. Laynie and Beau truly have a beautiful life. It is obvious how much joy little Slate has brought them and I couldn't be happier for them.
And honestly, there is no way this baby can not be an absolute hawtie when he gets older. I mean look at the gene's he is workin' with here! wow.

Lindsey & Clay: Oklahoma Engagement

Lindsey and Clay are painfully perfect for one another. Lindsey and I were Chi-Omega's together in school so it was really fun for me to be able to see who my sister ended up with. Clay is so absolutely perfect for her. These two are giddy, fun, charismatic, charming and loving.
We had quite the adventure on our shoot. It was one of the first times my "ask for forgiveness not permission" technique failed me ;) we went into an old car dump (I got one of my fav. shoots from the session there) and some crazy man came out and went off on us telling us he was going to send his routwieler out to "get us" .... lets just put it this way, I was really glad that I no longer live in the "deep south" because this man embodied it ;). It was pretty halarious.

Lindsey and Clay, you two are amazing... and even more amazing for missing the OSU vs. Baylor Game for the shoot. I felt muy loved. And I friggin' love these photos almost as much as I love you ;)

*this was the one shot I got before crazy man kicked us out ;)

Kelsey & Nick: A punch of Awesomeness.

Kelsey & Nick are like a punch in the face of total awesomeness. Honest.
I get all giddy and weak in the knees when I talk about them because they are just so... dynamic. Ah yes... DYNAMIC, I have been trying to think of a word that attempts to encapsulate these two... DYNAMIC is a great word for them. but they are also... Three dimensional... Funny...Authentic... Playful... Honest.... Down to Earth.... Loving....Passionate. I have too many good things in my heart for these two and not a large enough vocabulary to capture all of their goodness in just a short rambling on my blog.

These two were up for some real fun on their shoot, we brought along our buddies who are rockin' videographers, MindCastle to do some of our promo video on this shoot (I cannot wait to show you all this video they are making... it is going to be killer.) Kels and Nick were just the PERFECT couple for it.

Kelsey & Nick, keep enriching this world with your amazing effervescence and charisma. Thank you to for being YOU, fully and un-apologetically.... I just love that about you.
We can't wait for your wedding in December!
And while you rock out to this delightful little slideshow, enjoy the musical graces of our dear friends Barcelona
